Date Snicker Bars

…the different textures - the gooeyness of the dates/peanut butter combined with the crunch of the chocolate and peanuts makes it the perfect combination!

Ingredients

  • 24 Medjool Dates

  • 1/2 cup Peanut butter

  • 3 tbsp. crushed peanuts

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

  • 1 tsp coconut oil

  • flakey salt

Instructions:

  • First, remove the seeds from your dates.

  • Press your dates onto a baking sheet to form a large bar.

  • Drizzle on your peanut butter and add your crushed peanuts on top.

  • Add your chocolate chips and coconut oil into a small bowl and microwave in 30 second increments until melted, stirring every 30 seconds so the chocolate doesn’t burn.

  • Pour the chocolate over the peanut covered date bar, then top it off with some flaky salt.

  • Place your date Snickers bar into the freezer to firm up for at least 30 minutes. This will ensure that the chocolate hardens.

  • Store in the fridge until you’re ready to enjoy.
